SLIVER OF STONE: Inaugural Issue is Now Online!

Sliver of Stone just announced that its inaugural issue is now available online.  The issue features the poetry of Denise Duhamel, non-fiction by Kim Barnes and fiction by John Dufrense. The other contributers to this issue are Alan Britt, Alex Alderete, Andrea Askowitz, Andrew Abbott, Changming Yuan, Chloe Nimue Clark, Ernest Williamson III, Gabriela Suarez, Jennifer Hearn, Jessica Barrog, Joe Clifford, John Riley, John Solensten, Jon Page, Jonathan P. Escoffery, Julia Meylor Simpson, Laura Merleau, Mary Christine Delea, Nicholas Garnett, Pete Borrebach, Rae Spencer, Robert E. Wood, Roxanne Hoffman, Russ Hicks, Russell Reece, Samantha Knapp, Sherry O’Keefe, T.J. Beitelman, Terry Sanville, Tim Curtis, Whitney Scott, and Yia Lee.

The editors are looking for submissions for their second issue! DEADLINE: October 31st.

 
Sliver of Stone is a bi-annual, online literary magazine dedicated to the publication of work from both emerging and established poets, writers, and visual artists from all parts of the globe. We publish work that is surprising and inventive.
 
The editors are interested in the following:
  • Fiction, Creative Nonfiction, Essays (3,500 words or less).
  • Poetry, any form or genre (No more than 5 poems)
  • Visual art
Note the following restrictions:
  • Multi-authored works are not eligible.
  • No previously published works.
  • Simultaneous submissions are acceptable but we must be notified immediately should your work be accepted elsewhere for publication.
